JFKFC Best Band Name of All Time!

JFKFC has been declared the Best Band Name of All Time by Pastemagazine.com! Nice to see that JFKFC is getting recognition outside of the local Atlanta scene, even if it is something as humble as having the best band name ever. It seems that Scott(singer, songwriter, guitarist and doily enthusiast) has a penchant for coming up with clever band names. After all, he did come up with the name of another kickass Atlanta band Dick Delicious and the Tasty Testicles. Other Atlanta bands such as Kathleen Turner Overdrive,Gringo Star, and Gnarls Barkely also made the top 10. Gosh! What can we say?

Upcoming Dick Delicious Show

Yes,I know it's been a while since this blog has been updated but that's
how it goes when nothing much is happing. While it's safe to say that JFKFC is
on a hiatus, there is something that will be going on the Dick Delicious and The
Tasty Testicles front. On Thursday January 28th 2010,DDTT will be playing their
first show in three years at The Clermont Lounge in Atlanta Ga. For those of you
not familiar with the Clermont Lounge,it is a landmark in Atlanta that you have to
experience for yourself to truely appreciate what it is. Marilyn Manson,Nine Inch
Nails, and even Anthony Bourdain have given their utmost reccomendation as a must
see place. It even has its own Wikipedia page! With that in mind If you like tits and ass (no matter how low they hang to the ground)shaking
and swinging alongside songs about tits and ass, come and see the gazilianth annual
Dick Delicious reunion show! JFKFC's own Scott Waldrop(Hugh G Rection) and Scootch(Stu Pidasso)will reunite with Jay(Dick Delicious). Check out Jay's myspace blog for
more details on the upcoming show. Atlanta's Edgewood and Novacaine will also be
on the bill.

Pics From Three Bears Cafe Show 11-28-2008

Last night was the first show we have played in quite some time. We had a great time playing every single song off our album, "The Chickenfried Conspiracy Theory" with Jay Hedburg making a brief but triumphant return filling in on bass for Michael Faulkner. we are currently rehearsing new material for a followup album, which we hope to record in the not so distant future. For now, take a look at we do when we aren't jet setting with hot chicks and sipping on Tom Collins

We're baaaaaaack!

After a long ass hiatus, JFKFC will be back to performing live on Nov.28
at Three Bears Cafe in Marietta Ga. If anyone is in town, come out and see this heavy, cerebral show. And if you aren't in Marietta, this is the only excuse to come there.

Jay Hedburg will be making a comeback filling in on bass for Michael Faulkner. Jay left the band to play bass in the highly successful band, The Luchagores.

In other news, JFKFC are currently rehearsing new material for a tentative follow up album. If you thought the first album made you scratch your head, you will be digging your brain out to this one!
